Deli with a Difference

Groucho’s Deli was recently featured in an article by Food Chain Magazine. In the article our President, Deric Rosenbaum and franchisor Bruce Miller, discuss what has made Groucho’s Deli so successful over the last 8 decades, and how Groucho’s Deli has evolved over the years.

Bruce Miller says that one of the main reasons that Groucho’s Deli has been able to thrive for so long is the food philosophy that has driven the menu since 1941. He says, “Groucho’s food philosophy is centered around three things: quality, flavor, and freshness.” Since the beginning, we have prided ourselves on using fresh proteins, free from soy byproducts and unnecessary fillers. Deric says, “Technology isn’t just a tool for operations anymore – it’s the central nervous system of the business. In restaurants and franchise systems, it drives guest experience, operational efficiency, and scalability, enabling scalable growth across the franchise system. Sandwiches might feed people, but technology feeds the system that delivers consistency, speed, and personalization at scale,” Groucho’s Deli is proud to have a system that allows us to deliver the most comfortable ordering experience possible, no matter where our guests are.

Our ability to combine fresh ingredients and a modern technological edge has brought Groucho’s Deli to the contemporary market. However, the core principles that started it all are always at the heart of our business. “To maintain and grow our legendary restaurant status by providing every guest with the same quality experience today that has been offered to generations before them while upholding our tradition to give back to the communities we serve”
